A one-of-a-kind, fun and exciting tour exploring inner city Johannesburg from the thrill of a skateboard!

Meet:
Kalashnikovv Gallery - Braamfontein
70 Juta Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2001
Guests must walk to the courtyard just behind the gallery - use passage with elephants on the wall to get to the back!
Sometimes co-hosted with graffiti artist "BevaMHC" depending on their availability!
Photos and videos allowed! (Safety tips provided by guides on how to take pictures/videos safely!)
No food or drink provided on tour - guests will have to cover their own food and drinks costs!
Guests will meet their guide(s) at the Kalashnikovv Gallery in Braamfontein where you’re invited to get yourself a coffee or light snack from one of the shops in the gallery courtyard!
(The courtyard is just behind the front entrance of the gallery i.e. walk through the passage – with the elephants on the wall – and you’ll see the JFF Rooftop Farm shop in the courtyard!)
In Braamfontein, guests can expect to see a lot of graffiti, modern street art and cool hangout spots that highlight why this area is one of the coolest areas in the city!
We then head to Newtown which is also rich in Graffiti – in this area, you’ll see some of the best graffiti in the whole city and understand why Newtown used to be the art and cultural hub of the inner city.
From Newtown, we move towards Marshalltown where you’ll see a bit of day-to-day life in the city and how graffiti and street art has beautified some of the old and abandoned buildings found in this area!
We end in Maboneng with its colourful graffiti, street art and really cool wall murals!
This tour ends at the amazing Hallmark House Rooftop which has 360′ views of the city and is a great way to catch a beautiful sunset in the city while sipping on sundowners!
This tour is all about showing you how cool Johannesburg is and the positive impact graffiti and street art has on this city!
Braamfontein
One of the coolest neighbourhoods in the city with cool people, dope graffiti, killer fashion and fun hang-spots!
It's also home to Joburg's "City of Gold" Graffiti Festival!
Newtown
An industrial area home to the city's coolest underground clubs and street Graffiti!
Once a year, it hosts the annual "Back to the City" Hip Hop Festival in April!
Jewel City
A new residential development in the inner city with cool street art and murals along its walls!
Maboneng
Voted one of the world's coolest neighbourhoods in 2018 by Forbes, it has a rich mix of graffiti and street art by both local and international artists!

Hallmark House (Rooftop)
The best rooftop in the city with 360' views of Joburg!
This is by far the best place to end this tour and enjoy the golden hour, sundowners and sunset in the city!
Yes, there is street parking available at the meeting point of the tour – however, it is used entirely at your own risk and we encourage you to rather use Ubers to and from the tour.
Yes, children (u18) are allowed on the tour BUT THEY MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult for the full duration of the tour!
Please make sure to let us know beforehand, if you plan on bringing children on the tour.
Although we skate on the roads and pavement while on tour, we exercise a very high level of caution to ensure the safety of all clients – please keep this in mind when thinking about bringing children (u18) on the tour.
Although South Africa has pretty amazing weather for most of the year, the tour may be stopped or cancelled if it rains continuously – guests may choose to take the tour on another date or be partially refunded depending on when the tour is stopped or cancelled.
We encourage guests to check the weather conditions prior to coming on the tour.
